I worked in radio, as a deejay, when that song first came out...in the 70’s. We got a deluge of requests for it everyday, and even after the initial rush died down, we still used it on patriotic holidays and events.

Most every other song Trump has tried to use was blocked by the anti-Trump artists who recorded it, but Lee Greenwood not only gave it his blessing, he also shows up and performs it.

As for it deleterious effect on you, it’s only about three minutes long, if your tolerance can’t stand that amount of time, for patriotism, there’s always the volume control.
