Rep. Maxine Waters feels sorry for broke millennials.
In fact, the California representative seemed to go so far as to apologize to the younger generation for their economic situation during a speech Friday.
“Millennials say, ‘We have done everything you told us to do, only to find out we can’t get a job. And when we get a job it’s not worth going to work every day because of the pay that is offered to us,’” she told the audience at the Rainbow Coalition Wall Street Project Economic Summit at the Sheraton Hotel in Midtown.
Democrat Waters — who has famously clashed with President Trump — added, “[Millennials say,] ‘We are disappointed in what we thought would be available to us when we came of age, when we graduate and we are ready to start our careers.’”

Even good degrees aren’t going to get you six figures right in the door. Not even IT or engineering, you gotta start at the bottom and prove you can do the job. And learn what you actually do for your job!

With President Oprah,Michelle O,Warren, or Kamala Harris in office (God forbid) this may be the top major in the US.
Like the old poetry majors getting a PhD to teach poetry to other poetry majors. Same with many liberal arts majors.
A line of argument used to be why does the owner of the corporation who originated the product and risked his capital and built the company and gave jobs to hundreds get to work on the top floor and make millions of dollars now? And the floor sweeper and trash collector gets a small percentage of that salary and works all day below?
Answer: what is the contribution being made? A small contribution cannot be paid at the top rate, any more than a bench utility ballplayer could make what the World Series hero makes.
These people are seriously misinformed, need attitude adjustments, etc.
Do they really expect a six figure income right off the bat?
Do they not understand the concept, of an entry level job, or working one’s way up in a career, to get to the better paying higher level jobs? Do they not understand the concept that people in those jobs work their way up, over a period of years, and don’t get handed one of those higher jobs at age 22?
Are they so enamored of material wealth, that they think they should get paid enough to buy a house in an upscale suburb or ritzy condo in an upscale city neighborhood, at the pay of an entry level job?
Where exactly do they get these ideas????
But they still don’t see the stupidity in being liberal, the answer to them is always, “We’re not doing it enough, we need more Jimmuh Carter economics!”
Yep. If your selection of major was done in the student union building based on “Oooh, that one looks fun!!”, I can’t feel sorry for you.

Yep. Their expectations are the problem. The millenials’ American dream is the George Steph-o-crap-olous career path: go to college in journalism or some other major that you can get drunk every night and still pass, go work for a DemonRat president for 8 years, then get hired on by an alphabet network, make $11 million/year to read a teleprompter, and schmooze with Hollywood stars at the good cocktail parties even though you’re Don Lemon-level douchebag.
When Trump was elected so many were freed from their parent’s basements. Hopefully they see the true problem of Democratic politics.

Funny, I didn’t hear any of this during the Obama years when the economy was really bad. Hell, its positively roaring now. My income has gone up by a staggering 1/3rd in the last 2 years.
When Caliph Baraq assumed the throne, items like the homeless problem simply disappeared from media mention.
