Rhetorical question here - What exactly did Manafort do to incur the wrath of Hillary?

Simple, Manafort was responsible for and masterminded the election of Viktor Yanukovych as President of Ukraine in 2010. (Remember, Hillary was Secretary of State). Hillary had spent much political capital in support of Victor Yushchenko.
As we see later (2012-2014) that defeat cost Hillary hundreds of millions dollars.
