MONTPELIER, February 22, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) – Vermont’s Democrat-controlled House of Representatives voted Thursday to pass a bill many pro-lifers are calling the most extreme of its kind, as it leaves elective abortion virtually unregulated through all nine months of pregnancy. Last month, more than 90 House members cosponsored legislation to codify a “fundamental right” to “have an abortion,” like several other states moving to ensure abortion remains legal regardless of a future Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade.
“No State or local law enforcement shall prosecute any individual for inducing, performing, or attempting to induce or perform the individual’s own abortion,” it says, as well as prohibiting any “public entity” from restricting any sort of benefits or services on the basis of an individual’s decision to have or a medical worker’s decision to commit an abortion. The language suggesting there be no prosecution for do-it-yourself abortions raises questions about whether there would be adequate legal protections against infanticide in Vermont.

Abortion is simply the new eugenics.
I particularly like the idea that “individuals”, not women have an absolute right to an abortion. Can’t discriminate against pregnant individuals who identify as men! I realize that one must ignore many realities to be left-wing, but at some point it slips over into downright insanity.
We ought to find a young Christian couple claiming to want an abortion because they think he’ll be gay. Then wammo!! the left might be pro-life.
California would divide east/west. Coastal counties from LA to Marin booted out.

I am sure that the nominal Catholic, Leahy, fully supports this. And the nominal Catholic bishop and priests will excommunicate no one. And the nominal Catholic Pope will do nothing either.
Proposed New Mexico legislation goes further removing current provisions in NM law that ensure medical providers can avoid participating in an abortion as a matter of conscience.
So at what age will it be considered murder instead of a late term abortion? I am currently in the 148th trimester, is that to late to abort me?

All these states passing horrific Infanticide “laws” at the same time they are passing “laws” that take away 2nd Amendment rights is not a coincidence. It is coordinated.

If the expansion of government and debt is left unchecked, eventually, America will collapse due to insolvency.
