Only slightly “tongue n cheek” in my remarks.

However, in all honesty, I see no way of avoiding a second major armed confrontation on this continent. There are only three possibilities:

1. The left wins, and we become slaves to a socialist dictatorship.

2. The Right wins, and we restore our constitutional representative republic.

3. We agree to an amicable divorce, dissolve the Constitution, and geographically divide the present United States into two separate nations.

Option 3 is not practical for a host of reasons, not the least of which would be the specter of foreign invasion.

Thus we are left with choice 1 and 2 - IOW: it is either us or them. That is the plain reality and simple truth.

You’re forgetting the effect of mass enlightenment to the fact that a small group of several thousand people really do run the world through the banking system, human trafficking, organized crime, occultism, blackmail and of course a system of secrecy developed over the centuries.

The dynamic will be completely different when this happens.

“There are only 3 possibilities:

2. The Right wins ….

I fear you left out a 4th possibility, and one which seems most likely, given the examples from history.

4. During the civil disorder accompanying the breakdown of the constitutional, representative republic, a Man-On-A-White-Horse, a Napoleon emerges, neither Left or Right, who establishes, maybe not even intentionally, a dictatorship or even a Monarchy. This almost happened at the end of the American War of Independence, and might have if Washington had not refused to play along. Like Octavius Caesar, he might keep the forms of the old republic in place; there would still be a Congress, a Supreme Court, perhaps even an elected President, individual States, but the power would have passed to the Man who won, who brought peace and order, what ever his title is.

That is what we have to fear the most, if the unspoken social compact which upholds the Constitution breaks down and open warfare between the factions begins.
