I guess they’re relocating those problem bears to sanctuary cities. Sounds good to me.
This is actually a good idea.
Wyoming can only support so many brown bears.
California was brown bear territory, and still has significant wild territory capable of supporting brown bears. I would think that you could fit a few hundred bears before really having a negative impact upon California ranching.
Move a half dozen or so each year, to make the transition managable.
