My eldest son's first real call after he joined our fire department was an accident on a rural road. A car load of teenagers going 100 mph left the road hitting trees in a woods on the side. The impact tore their car apart and sprayed the kids though the woods. They found body parts well into the woods. One of the kid's face was found in tree limbs. All 5 died, instantly.

My son handled it fairly well.
