They can vote but how many votes do they have at the Dem. convention and in the Electoral College? Also, is she still the mayor or can she actually run around and work for him?

I should have been more clear: It was appeal to Puerto Ricans stateside (there are plenty in the NYC metro area), as well as any others enamored of Cortez’ “Puerto Rican-ness” (now he has one, too).

In terms of what she can do while serving as mayor, I got the impression from Trump that she was doing nothing down there. Remember how the enemedia tried to spin his criticism of the leadership down there (”they want everything done for them”) as an attack on the Puerto Ricans in general?
