A press conference will be held at Chicago PD headquarters at 9 am CT (10 am ET / 7 am PT), where Superintendent Eddie Johnson and Commander of Area Central Detectives Edward Wodnicki will brief reporters on the investigation prior to Smollett’s appearance in court.
He's sending a mixed message here. They are victims but they hid their trail?

Dear Superintendent Johnson - he didn’t smear Chicago, he smeared everyone who voted for President Trump.
But we’re supposed to believe Little Jussie did this because he wasn’t satisfied with his salary?

I don’t like how they called the brothers “victims”. That’s absurd!!! They need to be held accountable. They took his offer.
They were conspirators. They knew they were perpetrating some kind of fraud. I’d say the trip immediately after to Nigeria indicates consciousness of guilt. The brothers are getting a pass. And it looks to me like the CPD is engaging in a lot of don’t ask, don’t tell.

Smollett told his tv interviewer he was attacked because “I come really really hard against 45. I come really really hard against his Administration.”
The idea that there wasn’t a political motivation is complete BS.

They rolled on Smollett for leniency from the prosecutor.
It depends on how Jussie described the stunt. He said it was for PR, then turned around and reported it as a hate crime which shocked the brothers.
I’m not buying that it was just a PR stunt.
If I were both the Chicago PD & The FBI....I would be making serious inquiry & investigation into whether Jussie Smollett was in active and planned contact with any Democrat Party, low life politicians, such as, Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosi, Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, Elizabeth Warren, Jerold Nadler, Adam Schiff, etc., and the media folks from CNN, MSNBC, NBC ABC, CBS, etc. who supported and helped plan this farce that Smollett tried to pull off as a “Hate Crime”.
These listed Democrats, Hollywood celebrities, and their Media goon allies are capable of anything, including treason, to attain the destruction of POTUS, Donald J. Trump and the American Nation Republic.
Law enforcement...please leave no stone unturned.

While the Democrats, Hollywood left, and the media are all running away from Smollett and this story, I think Trump should be very reasoned in his comments and let it be clear that it is the left that is pushing divisiveness and hate. He doesn’t need to state this, it is self-evident, but he should state that false accusations against anyone poisons society and sows the seeds of hate and distrust.
Maybe. But if the screenshots I’ve seen of Smollett’s Twitter feed are legit, the TDS is strong in Smollett. I wonder if it is in the brothers.

Plain and simple, it was an anti-Trump, White hate crime, designed to create more racial chaos in this country. Did they bother to mention how much two round trip plane tickets to Nigeria are and who paid for them? He only gave them 3500.00 for the entire debacle? Of course he is going to say it was his pay, it takes the federal hate crime off the table.
