Sounds far fetched to me. Too bad Heather Nauert withdrew her name from consideration.

In this case, he lacks some background, but with John Bolton mentoring him, he’d give a good performance for 20 months. I think in Trump’s second term....he’d make a great diplomat and be ready in 2024 for a VP role.

Had heard that Richard Grenell is also under consideration.

My choice would be former World Heavyweight Wrestling champion, the “Nature Boy”, Ric Flair: “Russia!.....China!.....Iran!...You got a problem with us? Then brother, come on down and walk that aisle! Wooooo!!!”

I’d like to see him make another run at the Senate.

She was no diplomat and neither is John James
I expect better from Trump than making the UN Ambassador a training position

year but was defeated in November by three-term incumbent Democrat Debbie Stabenow. However, the race was unexpectedly close...

She still won by six and a half points.

Yes. I supported John in his GOP primary election last year and November’s general election. I would love to see him serving this administration anywhere the public will see how good he is. I see John as more than intelligent enough to master any public service task he takes on, and I think he is a well grounded Conservative.

I was hoping he’d run for Senate again in 2020 against the freshman Democrat - he would be in the Senate today even against an entrenched Democrat like Stabenow had he been adequately funded, and would have an even better chance against Peters.
