Former “Never Trump” Koch brothers executive Marc Short, once President Trump’s White House Legislative Affairs Director, is now rejoining the administration as Vice President Mike Pence’s Chief of Staff after a brief stint as a CNN commentator.

On social media, Pence confirmed his intention to hire Short as his Chief of Staff:

I am pleased to announce that Marc Short will be returning to the White House to serve as my chief of staff. Marc will be joining the Office of the Vice President in March and we look forward to welcoming him to our great @VP Team!

Actually, Pence was worst with his behavior and “buttoned up while sitting” suit during the Pelosi-Reid encounter with Trump.

He looked completely uncomfortable the whole time.

Hard to believe that he was the only qualified candidate for the job.

You are so full of crap. There are thousands of hours worth of video with Pence online, you go find just ONE example showing where he has been anything but supportive of the President.

Your likes are irrelevant as are your uninformed opinions. If you can’t support Trump then maybe this isn’t the place for you to express them.

I really wish Jared and Ivanka would go away.

Can you imagine if President Reagan allowed his daughter, Patti, to choose people and policies, etc?

==========

That's a real nice way to say "the fix is in".

My disappointment is growing along with my suspicions that nothing is really changing, or likely to change.

You’re right. He is. But most of us have always known so.

The war with the open borders is over for now. Trump won this battle. He’ll win the next one, after the elections, too.

And he’ll win because of loyal, hard working supporters like Mike Pence.
Just as he won the election by Pence’s hard work and loyalty.
They both had amazing schedules during the campaign! So impressive!

Pence is certainly ‘Establishment’ but not much of a RINO.
He’s as conservative as one could be in the GOP, before Trump.

The border is still open, you call that victory? I don't.

Pence just hired a Koch Bros snake to be his Chief of Staff. Trump used the snake parable countless times early in his campaign to warn us.

Do you think this snake will be any different than the one Trump warned about? I don't. So why did Pence take him in? What possible good can come from it?

I say none.

Yes, I do. Walls don’t get constructed overnight. He’s scratched and clawed to fulfil that promise. Some of the money he’s adding by EO isn’t dependent on the emergency, and I expect him to win the “emergency” fight in the courts.

Next promise up is the “infrastructure” money he promised, I believe. Koch. or any of the RINOs, shouldn’t be a problem with that.

Seems taxes, wall, infrastructure were his big promises. Along with good court picks.

You and me both!

Actually, I wish that neither one of them had NEVER been taken to DC!

Oh yes...Patti and Ron Jr.; now wouldn't that pair have made great "advisers"...NOT! ;^)

It’s one thing to run a family business but running a country, we didn’t vote for them. I bet if a poll were taken, it would show that Javanka is a negative asset to the Trump Presidency.

Yes, I agree 100%.

In "real life", I don't know ANYONE who likes them/approves of them being in D.C. and my friends range from regular GOPers to ultra CONSERVATIVES...all of whom voted for and support Trump 100%.

“After watching Pence’s body language at the GHWB funeral, I’m with you.”

That was something, especially Pence’s exchange with the Clintons. Was there some kind of hand off?

And, then those envelopes. Pence’s wife got one, too.

No, his biggest promise was to remove 30 million illegals, did you forget that one?

Unless that is done, none of the other things matter.
