These stories are hilarious. It’s winter! Happens every year. But the weather people are in with the green bill weirdos trying to make it seem unusual.

Yesterday I couldn’t leave my house. It was IMPOSSIBLE even to get to my car because the entire area was a sheet of ice. There’s another storm starting tonight. If my power goes out I freeze. If I slip and fall out there... I freeze.
So some of us aren’t just “crying wolf” - this weather really does suck and really is dangerous.

So true, but wall-to-wall coverage wasn’t possible. In Buffalo we only had channels 2, 4, and 7, and they went to color pattern around 11 p.m. I am amazed we survived, with such a dearth of information. It’s a miracle!!

Ice storms are no fun. Stay home or ice skate on the streets like we did when I was growing up. Heat may be a problem. Might invest in a generator.
