Actually Nunez had to recuse himself during that time because of Dem allegations about him briefing the WH.

The only reason that Nunes had to recuse himself for many months is because snake Paul Ryan forced him to do and removed him from his Committee Chairmanship. Nunes would have been the only one of the Gang of 8 on the side of the constitution.

McCain and Rubio (Flake?) were involved in a different "Gang of Eight." IIRC it was related to immigration.
