Which explains how this investigation even began. If the GOP controlled both houses of Congree how did we even get an investigation into Russia gate except for the fact the GOP was also gunning for Trump.
When they told Trump he was not the "target", they were not lying - not exactly, anyway.
You become a "target" when the prosecutor is ready to present evidence to a grand jury and ask them for an indictment. At that point, the government has to send you a "target letter", to notify you and your lawyer that you are about to be indicted and/or arrested.
What Trump is, what he has always been, is the "subject" of the investigation.
I have been a Federal grand jury "subject", and let me tell you, when you are one, every waking moment becomes about not turning into a "target".
Since Justice Department policy says Trump can't be indicted, I suppose it's technically correct to say that he hasn't been, and won't become, the "target".

That the GOP was under the ownership and command/control of the GOPe Uniparty and solidly anti-Trump is a known known already.
It helps to keep in mind when the usual suspects are telling us how Trump has no chance at the next election that Trump beat not only Hillary and the DNC, but the MSM and the GOP too.
Now, the DNC is mostly engaged in a war with itself. The MSM is largely castrated rendered ridiculous to a significant and growing portion of our population, and the GOP has been at least partially cleaned out (remember the rash of retirements?).
I don’t think it ever happened the way he said. Probably briefed about an obscure Trump campaign person they would not recognize.
When a practiced, chronic liar again lies he continues his tendency to lie. What’s new? I believe after arrest, a fair trial and conviction this bum traitor should be hanging somewhere for a long time.
Good point and little doubt forcing Nunes’ recusal was part of the coup plot.
Agree completely and glad the GOP got cleansed, although Romney and friends seem intent to re-invade.
As for the media, the big 3 (ABC, CBS, NBC) still demand a large part of the populace - which I will never understand.
