Read this quote from the Vermont Public Radio interview and tell me it is not chilling:

"We have got to look at candidates, you know, not by the color of their skin, not by their sexual orientation or their gender and not by their age," Sanders said. "I mean, I think we have got to try to move us toward a non-discriminatory society which looks at people based on their abilities, based on what they stand for."

So "what you stand for" is the new definition that we can discriminate based on.

Rough future for conservatives.

Rough future for conservatives.

Sure looks that way. Trying to talk politics with people in their 20's and 30's is like trying to convince a four-year old that there is no Tooth Fairy. Their latest mind pretzel is that Venezuela does NOT prove the failure of socialism, because that government is oppressive, and any government that is oppressive is, by definition, right-wing.

Need to wrap my head in duct tape before the next such conversation.

... a non-discriminatory society which looks at people based on their abilities, based on what they stand for.”

In other words, “I stand for FREE STUFF for everybody and therefore the destruction of private property and a free
society where men can look at one another with respect.

Social justice warriors and commies are the true enemy of the people.

Life is a game of making the best of the cards you are dealt. And those who try to blow up the card game are creating a hellish society where criminal and legal plunder runs rampant.

Who will work hard and take intelligent risks when the government take away their incentive at every turn? Where is the justice for each individual man?

The US Constitution’s protection of a free man’s rights is merely a natural evolution of laws and intelligent human habits that enable us to rise above the days of tin-roofed shacks, subsistence farming, and tribal warfare.

The history of the human race should be taught from that perspective. Instead, as I remember, history was taught as a disconnected series of wars, world leaders, and dates to remember for an upcoming test.
