President Trump suggested Monday night that former acting FBI director Andrew McCabe committed treason, making his case in a tweet that cited Fox News’s Sean Hannity, hours after lobbing similar claims at Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein.
Trump sent the tweet during Hannity’s nightly show, in which the host assailed McCabe for claiming that he and Rosenstein discussed invoking the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from power.
Quoting Hannity, Trump wrote, “’The biggest abuse of power and corruption scandal in our history, and it’s much worse than we thought. Andrew McCabe (FBI) admitted to plotting a coup (government overthrow) when he was serving in the FBI, before he was fired for lying & leaking.’” @seanhannity @FoxNews Treason!” @seanhannity @FoxNews Treason!

I'd vote for this or a variation on it in that he's part and parcel of the deep state.
I suspect (hope) Trump, Barr, etc. are holding their water until after the 2020 election. Once he is re-elected, he’ll have four years to press for conviction. We all know the Fake News Media and the Dems will run interference as long as possible but if Trump makes prosecution a major issue, it could cost him re-election. After the re-election, it no longer becomes a campaign issue since Trump can’t run in 2024.

Very deceptive headline. Trump has been tweeting about the treasonous behavior since yesterday, saying it himself and then quoting others.
My thoughts also.
I think that once Trump has been re-elected, then heads will roll.
No point to pursuing that now. Now is the time to be gathering evidence and making preparations.
The conspirators are all fat and happy thinking that nothing will happen to them, so they will freely talk about their actions.
Here’s the perfect opporunity to deploy “Option E”.
We knew about Rod’s treasonous activities long ago, his participation in the cabal, and his refusal to answer to congressional oversight. Yet he remained in his job. Just saying.

That’s what everyone was saying before the presidential election, and then the mid terms. People keep predicting he will go after the cabal after this and after that, yet nothing happens. The reality is that Rod is basically leaving on his own terms and will probably never be held accountable.

Nobody in the deep state ever goes to prison. Fixed it. Republicans and conservatives do go to prison. Conservative author/film maker Dinesh D'Souza went to prison.
