Russia is attempting to take over there in various ways. It is best handled now before they get too much of a foothold. Trump said he prefers a smooth transition but all options are on the table.
Ummm...no. There is no declaration of war. And there is no other authority under US or international law to do this. Venezuelans need to figure this out. If they were willing to give up their guns to their own government in 2012, they need to sacrifice their own lives to get rid of their own repressive govt. I am not in favor of shedding one drop of American blood down there. Call me when they have adopted a US or Swiss constitution and the entire population is armed to prevent tyranny.
I love the Venezuelans I know, but I don’t think they have learned much about their experience.
