I recall last year, there were some commemorative events in honor of the 200th birthday of Karl Marx.
Why, I wondered, would anyone outside the lunatic fringe honor someone, who inspired such suffering when people such as Lenin and Stalin and Mao followed his theories?
Though Marx never led a communist revolution, he’s right up there in evil with those who did, in my opinion.

Marxists should not be afraid of criticism from any quarter.
- Chairman Mao.
Mao persecuted the vast majority of China's writers. During the Cultural Revolution, from 1966 to 1976, books were burned across the country. "The more books you read, the more stupid you become," Mao declared. Yet his favorite hobby was reading.
- Jung Chang, author of "Wild Swans: Three Daughters of China" and co-author with Jon Halliday of "Mao: The Unknown Story."

I just put this on my fb
Karl Marx, green with envy and orange with greed, turned red with anger at his own wretched decrepitude. Scotland Yard will begin questioning half a billion to two hundred million suspects globally when the next ice age covers Great Britain. I'll be dead by the time they could ever get to me.
