I don't understand... what is there to veto?

If this is simply a resolution that doesn't pass any legislation, then what purpose does a veto serve?

Sure glad you asked the question. I read through the posts to see if there was anything explaining what there would be to veto and I sure didn’t see anything so I don’t know what they’re talking about.

veto is what Fox news interviewer and the article author are saying. They are pushing this narrative president will veto, but there is not yet any thing from the house - just their grumbling and trying to figure best way to thwart Trump’s declaration of emergency

The process for congress to overturn an emergency declaration is to pass a joint resolution. I am not familiar with presidential options when and if they do.
