The February 15, 2019, shooting at Henry Pratt Company (HPC) occurred even though HPC is a gun-free zone.

Crime Prevention Research Center reported, “This attempted mass public shooting occurred in yet another gun-free zone. 98% of mass public shootings since 1950 have taken place in areas where people can’t defend themselves.”

Georgia Carry also posted a photo of a sign indicating no guns allowed on HPC’s front door to its Instagram account.

Not only did the shooting happen in a gun free zone but the shooter had a felony prior to buying the firearm and passed the NICS background check. The government screwed up big time on this one but they will blame anyone and everyone but themselves.

Gun owners, gum makers, and the NRA will be held guilty because the government screwed up and the laws that are already in place were not unforced.

If you do not enforce the existing laws how in the hell are any new laws going to stop anything?

Has to be fake news. Gun free zones are just that and nobody with a gun would enter. Right?

And to think that our new gov in NV sleestak sissiepants just re-initiated the ‘hole’ universal background check on Friday. So, if some assclown slips past like this one, no doubt the state will be exempt from any legal action.

Gun free zones are often located within brain free zones.

They don’t care about stopping violence. They just want all the guns.

In Wisconsin the business is liable if they ban guns.

Although it looks like in this case fedgov is liable too because of the background check flub.

Plus he was black and for whatever reason he was not allowed to have a gun by existing laws.

It didn’t stop him nor would any future laws stop these people. Being black puts him a protected category from the media onslaught of insanity. They would be squawking like stuck chickens if the shooter had been white and any history of being proud to be white.

Gun Free Zones are virtually 100% effective up to the moment a homicidal maniac decides to shoot everyone in the zone knowing there is 0 chance he will be stopped by another gun. IOW Gun Free Zones protect us from people from whom we need no protection but do not protect us from those from whom we need protection.

How could this be? No self respecting criminal would take a gun into a gun free zone. That would be breaking the law!

Those signs should require to be printed as:

Gun free zones...funeral directors welcome.

Actually a majority of young people read at a 4th grade level when graduating from high school in the city of Detroit. Not all of the students but a majority. A guy from there was a student assistant at my library office while he attended the university. An oddity, he told me.

About Most Criminals
IF they could read they would flee in terror from a No Gun Zone sign. Or IF they somehow did not go through the signing of documents and waiting period for a legal firearm then soon pangs of guilt would come over them.
