This crap about using NE to confiscate guns is a red herring, the RINOS and Dims know that and they also know it will spin up conservatives. There are too many SCOTUS rulings in favor of the 2nd Amendment. Furthermore there are well over 300 million guns in the United States, that we know of. Guns do not have a best if used by date and easily remain functional for over a hundred years. Good luck with any form of confiscation.
There is NO amendment that makes illegal entry into the United States legal. I suspect that the courts will rule Trump has a right to declare an NE but he can only divert the 3.6 billion from the DOD under the NE. That is money as CINC Trump already controls for misc defense construction. They will block use of any other funds not authorized by Congress.
