Doing ok Irish. Yeah, I know all about Hispanics and their hatred of gringos. That's ok, I hate them too and I habla the espanol. Freaks them out when they find out I can.

I’ve seen that myself; they can be as ignorant as gringos that all Spanish speakers should resemble Aztecs. When a white person speaks Spanish, many of them are amazed (and confused).

I can relate to that happening. ...only it’s other nationalities....and I give them “the look” because they usually are saying things to each other they wouldn’t to your face.
One guy actually said...in English....when I spoke to him in his native tongue...”I don’t have time for that”......I just think he was dumb struck.
