Andrew McCabe is a national disgrace. He was part of the most corrupt and most partisan leadership team in FBI history and was fired for being dishonest under oath.
And yet, America owes him a big thank-you.
McCabe, you see, has reminded us once again that there really is a powerful deep state, and that there has not been a full accounting of rampant FBI misconduct during the presidential campaign of 2016.
There is also still too much we don’t know about the role top aides to then-President Barack Obama and higher-ups in the Justice Department played in spying on the Trump campaign and leaks of classified information for partisan purposes.
In short, what is arguably the greatest scandal in the history of America remains mostly hidden from the public. That shroud of secrecy piles one scandal on top of another.
Fortunately, the McCabe reminder is a timely one, coming on the same day that William Barr was confirmed as the new attorney general. Barr is just the man to get to the bottom of the unprecedented plot to swing an election and later to remove a duly-elected president.
Barr, who was AG under the first President Bush, also will oversee special counsel Robert Mueller’s seemingly endless probe and, hopefully, bring it to a conclusion.

He really exposed himself as a crazy fanatic by claiming that he thinks the FBI should go around getting cabinet officers to invoke the 25th amendment and remove a president from office. These democrats are so evil they ignored the fact the 25th amendment has absolutely nothing to do with this situation.
One really has to wonder about the people they associate with and the kind of stupid crazy things they discuss because it’s a no brainer that the 25th amendment would be severely abused in the manner he described, and yet he was eager to brag about it on tv.
But don’t worry I am certain they handled the Hillary Clinton investigation properly. /s

It’s ongoing. Mueller ain’t under indictment yet, he and Weissman are the enforcers of the conspiracy.
They're also apparently so damned stupid they didn't realize that removing a President from office under the 25th Amendment is actually more difficult than impeachment and conviction.
Here's what I'm pretty sure happened here ...
The DOJ/FBI has long been filled with abject mediocrities who aren't even bright enough to work as a local animal control officer. Andrew McCabe is a perfect example of such a person. This guy probably spent so much time watching equally mediocre legal minds on CNN and MSNBC talking about this "25th Amendment" nonsense, and simply decided to act on it.
I'm kind of ambivalent about Barr, but describing him as a "totally political creature" is really odd. He hasn't worked in government since his last day as the U.S. Attorney General when Bill Clinton was inaugurated in January 1993. He has spent more than 25 years working in corporate counsel and board of director roles in some major U.S. corporations.

Nobody is more political than the big law/lobbyist firms that are the real Deep State.
William Barr is up to his ears in Kirkland & Ellis, the overwhelmingly Dem law firm that is the source for far too many of Trump’s appointees.
He lies under oath and gets fired. Yet Roger Stone and Paul Manafort get woke in the morning by FBI SWAT teams and then solitary confinement. I pray to God and also G-d that there is some justice in this great land but I’m not hopeful because Bill and Hillary are still walking around as are all the Arkanciders and lawyers that worked for them.
Exactly! And it appears that what little media is covering this story is pretending that the conspiracy is limited to the FBI and DOJ when it involves the State Dept., the CIA, ODNI and Lord knows who else.
