Not passive agressive at all.

I agree with that statement about his intelligence.

But there have been some problems with execution. He’s had some really good cabinet and executive hires (e.g. Pompeo, Mulvaney, DeVos) and some pretty bad ones (Sessions, Pruitt). That’s par for the course, though in any administration.

SECDEF Rumsfeld’s statement of (paraphrase) “... you go to war with the army you have...” is applicable here. President Trump knew what Congress was like when he won the election, and so should supporters. He has to make do with what he has to work with.

Again, both he and supporters need to recognize this. I believe he’s gotten played badly politically by Speaker Ryan and McConnell and then later Speaker Pelosi on the immigration issue, and especially the just passed bill.

It’s not enough to just have intelligence - he has to be able to execute using that intelligence given the political climate.

Pay closer attention to what Sessions did with MS 13.

In my opinion more of what Sessions did right will come out later, and it will be irrefutable.

Pruitt was hated by the left because he had good sense. The left hates good sense. (Funny—nobody who wants to make America great again wanted Pruitt out.)

Trump has extremely high intelligence, but his ability “to execute” is even higher.

Trump’s enemies are very stupid.

You should start by realizing that Trump’s political intelligence is greater than anyone else in politics going back to the stone age.
*******************************************************

What does the political landscape look like right now if Trump kept his word, guided by his political ‘genuis’, and on his first day as president began a full investigation of Hillary Clinton and the entire cabal that everyone with an I.Q. over 2 knew existed and committed some of the worst crimes ever against the U.S.?

Instead he gets schooled by someone into appointing Jeff Sessions as AG which has the exact opposite effect and results in Trump being the target.

Post 343 was supposed to go you also. But I see(from your last post) you are a Jeff Sessions fan so I think I will go have a discussion with a brick wall instead.

If you’re that disappointed with AG Sessions, I find it difficult to believe you’re in favor of prosecuting child trafficking and pedophiles. Or ms 13.

Or do you really not know what Sessions has done?

Donald J. Trump ✔ @realDonaldTrump Wow, so many lies by now disgraced acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe. He was fired for lying, and now his story gets even more deranged. He and Rod Rosenstein, who was hired by Jeff Sessions (another beauty), look like they were planning a very illegal act, and got caught..... 108K 7:15 AM - Feb 18, 2019

If Trump’s political intelligence as great as you say, then it’s doubtful he has been “schooled” by anyone.

More likely, you just don’t understand what he’s doing re Sessions, Mueller or Rosenstien.
