After Democratic leaders claimed they would ‘listen to the experts’ when deciding on wall funding, the head of the Border Patrol’s union said this week that lawmakers ignored them completely by agreeing to less than $1.4 billion in the new funding bill.
The National Border Patrol Council has consistently supported POTUS Donald Trump’s call for new border walls and other physical barriers along the U.S.-Mexico border.
But, as council president Brandon Judd told Breitbart News on SiriusXM Wednesday night, congressional dealmakers ignored the experts’ advice.
While saying that he couldn’t discuss “absolute specifics” of what Border Patrol officials told the conference committee, Judd said experts “absolutely let this committee know that without physical barriers, we just cannot gain the control that’s needed on the border.”
He added that the patrol’s presentation to lawmakers was “very in-depth and went to specifics.”

of course they did, if it doesn’t fit their agenda, they ignore.

And these same union people will continue to donate heavily to the democrats and vote for them.
Exactly. Unions gonna union. This is no different.
Which gives Trump the ability to listen to them and act on their advice, thus forcing the Democrats to run against the experts.
This needs to come to a head. We look to you Mr President, to tell us where to enlist. I’m 70 mr President and ready to sign up.
The dems party all know to vote the way they are told to vote... and they do... in step.
The GOP has these few who vote more dem than rep...so why don’t they run as democrats and let someone else run and win as republicans... If that had been so, they could have passed this wall being built, a year ago.
The republican leadership does not have all the members in line like the dems do.... they don’t crack the whip hard enough.
Seems our only choice.
Despite the facts before it, Congress is listening to anti-Americans and ignoring national security. That will be helpful if Trump is asked by a court to justify his national security.
It can be said that high officials attempted to overthrow the government (its leader) and now it can be said Congress is defeating measures designed to defend the Constitution.
Well when Texas falls in 3-4 years the a-holes who run the GOP will enjoy permanent minority status and all the families are hurt and killed by the invaders will have them to thank.
They’d already cashed the cartel checks and had to make good on their perfidy.
The GOP leaders don’t CARE what happens to the GOP. They’re likely paid off placeholders who vote as they’re told.
