As district attorney of San Francisco, Kamala Harris supported a city policy that required law enforcement to turn over juvenile immigrants in the U.S. illegally to federal immigration authorities if they were arrested and suspected of committing a felony, regardless of whether they were actually convicted of a crime.
Harris, who was San Francisco’s district attorney from 2004 to 2011, sided with then-Mayor Gavin Newsom in a political fight over San Francisco’s status as a sanctuary city that split the city’s municipal government, with the mayor’s office supporting the policy and the city’s elected Board of Supervisors opposing it.
Harris’ past position could open her up to attacks from immigration activists as well as the more progressive wing of the party as she seeks the Democratic nomination in 2020. The fight over the San Francisco policy was covered extensively at the time, but Harris’ role has not been closely examined since she entered the national spotlight. While California Department of Justice agents were raiding the home of the pro-life activist behind a series of undercover Planned Parenthood videos, their boss was helping the abortion provider fight for public funding, prompting critics to complain of a conflict of interest.
Kamala Harris, the state attorney general and Democratic candidate for Senate, has a link on her campaign website for visitors to sign a petition on behalf of Planned Parenthood. That fact, coupled with the Tuesday raid in Orange County in which agents who answer to Harris took a laptop and hard drives from the home of Center for medical Progress Executive Director David Daleiden, has created a firestorm.
“To storm into a private citizen’s home with a search warrant is outrageously out of proportion for the type of crime alleged. It’s a discredit to law enforcement, an oppressive abuse of government power,” Matt Heffron, a former fed.

Meanwhile in her 4 years as California’s AG, she refused to fund the cost of DNA IDs on thousands of rape kits in California.

If she had done her job as our state AG, there would not be hundreds if not thousands of DNA/ID rape Kits not processed.
Maybe some females in California and the nation can bring this scandal forward after Kamala conveniently forgot about them.

For someone who’s taken an oath to uphold, support, and defend the Constitution throughout her professional career, 2020 Democratic presidential contender Sen. Kamala Harris tends to, in the words of constitutionalist and talk host Mark Levin, “treat it like a smorgasbord,” picking the parts she likes and ignoring the parts she doesn’t.
Like not funding to process/id maybe thousands of Rape Kits in California while serving as the state’s highest ranking law enforcement person, the state’s former AG, Kamala!

Republicans can never be forgiven, even if they actually did evolve on something.

Good. But now she spits on federal law.
She also supports civil asset forfeiture, branding her on that fact alone, as a jackbooted thug deserving of disenfranchisement and deportation (And I don’t care what letter after one’s name or what other policies one supports or opposes; interestingly as many libs as genuine conservatives hate it)
She’s gonna take more positions than the Kama Sutra before this campaign is over, though, admittedly, there’s some overlap.
