Furious Trump calls McCabe a ‘disgrace to the FBI and disgrace to our country’ and claims he gave ‘Hillary a pass’ in return for his wife getting campaign cash

Andrew McCabe, the former deputy director of the FBI, recounted a Justice Department plot to remove Donald Trump from office in a television interview

In the next episode of '60 Minutes,' Scott Pelley, a correspondent for CBS, says McCabe will talk about a plot to remove Trump from office

Pelley says McCabe told him about a plot to approach Mike Pence, the Vice President of the United States, and ask him to invoke the 25th Amendment

McCabe is out with a new book, 'The Threat,' that takes aims at Trump

Trump fired McCabe and former boss James Comey, calling them 'crooked' cops

Trump's complaint about McCabe's wife Jill stems from her failed 2015 run for a state senate seat in Virginia.

A statewide political action committee called Common Good VA contributed $467,000 to her campaign. Hillary Clinton headlined a fundraiser for the group shortly beforehand, raising $500,000 for it.

The PAC was run at the time by Terry McAuliffe, then the governor of Virginia. McAuliffe is a longtime Bill Clinton fundraiser and former Democratic National Committee chairman.

Jill McCabe's campaign also received more than $207,000 from the Democratic Party of Virginia, over which McAuliffe exerted significant control.

Common Good VA was the largest single donor to the McCabe campaign.

Trump's all-caps tweet came after McCabe recounted a Justice Department plot to remove Donald Trump from office in a television interview that will air Sunday

I have absolutely no idea how DJT has withstood a full covert coup by the Deep State. He deserves our unwavering support.

The lack of justice is scary, from letting Hillary off to allowing the FBI to go rogue, yet NO indictments.

So the headline is about Trump’s reaction and not the underlying appalling scandal. smh.

For McCabe to admit this on TV there must be something going on they are trying to get ahead of.

So looks like Barr will be confirmed today as new AG, Horowitz’s OIG report must be around the corner and Mueller is waiting for both before slunking away.

Sadly, it’s not enough to say the IG report is devastating. These people need at justice response in proportion to Roger Stones arrest for alleged lying to congress. Except, when they are found guilty, they need to swing like the Lincoln conspirators.

So much simpler to tweet past the graveyard.

Perhaps we have lost a fundamental concept which was in the minds of America's Founders and Framers of its Constitution: that is, the role of "Divine Providence" in their undertakings on behalf of liberty.

An examination of the history of nations reveals the long and arduous struggle by human beings for individual liberty--from kings, from masters, from whatever description fitted those other human beings who gained power and exercised it over their fellow citizens.

By whatever semantic maneuver those power holders chose to identify themselves, no matter how benevolent they purported to be, the end was the same: some individuals in the society or group were denied their Creator-endowed rights to be free.

In America, in the Year 1776, a genius group of freedom loving individuals declared a set of principles by which, if accepted, a society of like-minded individuals could enjoy "the pursuit of happiness."

Eleven years later, they "constituted" a form of self-government to assure that the goals of their Constitution's Preamble were to become reality for the nation.

The Preamble began with the words,

We, the People. . . .

The goal, of course, was the expansion, or enlargement, of liberty for individuals in the society--not the enlargement of government!

Perhaps Donald Trump's greatest achievement to this point can be described as one man's effort to "expand liberty" for individuals and to "contract government power," thereby allowing just a little individual freedom to flourish as it did in America both prior to 1776 and thereafter.

By the way, has anyone here read Burke's Speech on Conciliation. . . . lately? If not, please read his description of how the "spirit of liberty" among the colonists, even before 1776, had resulted in the American colonies literally "feeding" the Old World!

The word, "liberty," should, once again become the watchword for American citizens.

I agree. What he has withstood is amazing.

He had some solid support someplace or they probably would have succeeded. Mike Rogers at NSA? Devin Nunes, Hannity, but there must be more.

Must be some in the deep state itself.

McCabe is basically admitting on national TV that he plotted a coup against the democratically elected POTUS. With Rosenstein’s help. At least in that regard, I believe McCabe. They should both be in jail.

Oh, but the rank and file FBI agents are the greatest people ever since the beginning of time to the present day according to Sean Hannity and Sean Hanna followers on FR -

You traitors know who you are
