Do you think in social matters the Europeans are worthy of emulation? I don't.
The BSA was created in the US with the noble intention of creating a venue where boys could be trained as men. That's it; that's its purpose, and it is needed so much more today than at any other time in this country's history. When you blend girls into the program, separate troops or not, you dilute that purpose. If you believe boys and girls are fundamentally different and need different training to mature, why do you think it makes sense to provide them with the same curriculum? The same values?
Unless you think as the Progressives do, that gender is fluid and interchangeable. That what's good for one is equally good for the other. That is insane.
Who cares what "most of the world" does?
Why would anyone think that the "most of the world" has found a better way?
Name a country out of that group that has been as successful as the USA in the last 242 years.
We must have been doing something right - More people from "most of the world" are trying to emigrate to the USA, legally and illegally, than to other countries.
A big part of the US decline in the recent past is directly rooted in attempts at globalization, attempts to emulate other less successful nations, political correctness and mindless worship of so-called "diversity".
The BSA had a successful run of over 100 years. It is only the last few years after political correctness set in that the organization has fallen into decline
