I often think that if given the chance to appear before a Congressional committee, when addressed by a confrontational member whose mission was to bluster, whether I’d be bold enough to pull out a magazine and begin to read it. As I was there to offer testimony and not receive a lecture, that is how I wish I would react.

Omar and others cut from similar cloth act like spoiled children not called to account for ill behavior. Thus they continue to push the envelope to see how far they can go. In sum, they’re the product of exceedingly poor home training spilled over into public display of increasingly egregious behavior.
Given the opportunity, it’s a coin toss of choices. Shunning, the “Silence”, works. But bracing them with a dose of public, verbal humiliation opening with “have youu lost your F’n mind” unequivocally let’s them know how one feels about the situation. Leave’m talking to themselves between sobs.
Until such happening, don’t expect no “cain’t we all get along” behavior.
I would probably just tell them to F off then get up and walk out. It would be worth the fine and jail time...just to do it on C SPAN.....LOL
