Brilliant idea Ted!

Sweet justice to seize funds from the very criminal who profited the most from our open border.

Perfect..solves everything, No Govt Shutdown, no need for a national emergency(Which would take 2 seconds for some liberal judge to overturn it) this way the wall gets built

I was listening to some obnoxious talking head this morning who fretted that the drug money was ‘blood money’ and should ‘blood money’ be used to build a wall?

The thing is, it’s ‘blood money’ whether it’s used for a wall or dumped into the general fund. Making the argument beyond stupid.

The exploited women, children and men, those who have died from or lost a family member to, cartels, are not going to mind if that money is used to put a serious hurt on border cartel business - a start to wiping them out, north to south.

Who could argue against that? Except the demonrat politicians on El Chapo’s payroll.

The US government has no El Chapo money, and has no idea where any of it is.

Ted Cruz’ meaningless wishful thinking.

It doesn’t take one cent from Big Bird or Planned Parenthood, so there is no reason for the Dims to oppose it.

Kudos, Ted.

someone on fox suggested putting the names of people on the border wall that died of drugs (like the Viet Nam war memorial)

Fantastic idea! Someone should have thought of that sometime over the last 2 years when we owned the House and could ACTUALLY advance it out of committee.

I doubt Pelosi would ever bring it up for a vote, don’t you Ted?

The challenge will be to get the DOJ and the various alphabet agencies to give up the monies and assets.

“first introduced by Cruz in April 2017 and reintroduced Tuesday,”

Ryan let it die when it could have been passed in an afternoon. The GOP was too busy stabbing Trump in the back.

“Critics of Cruz’s bill have argued that the money seizures would not cover all of the construction costs for a border wall.“

That’s a lame, dumbass criticism if I’ve ever heard one. It puts us closer to the total needed.

I’ve been hearing about this plan of his every few days for the last few months.

Ah Ted, we get it.

I have no problem with it, if it could be arranged.

“The US government has no El Chapo money, and has no idea where any of it is.”

Of course they know where it is. It’s at HSBC, started as a dope bank that was later run by Comey. It’s at Bank of America, Deutsche Bank, and many others. And those banks donate to Congressional campaigns.

They know where it is.

That is exactly right!

DEA laundering millions of dollars for the drug cartels - NY Times, DEC. 3, 2011

(by setting up bank accounts for them that they otherwise couldn't do.)

Someone by the name of Ted actually did in April 2017.
