Their claim is that the Jewish Temple Mount was conquered by Muslims in the 7th Century AD. (after Muhammad’s death in 632 AD), and he flew on a wing horse to the site before his death. They built a mosque on one side, and then later renovated or built the Mosque of Omar, making it Muslim property for eternity.
