Personal story, I live on a north east florida barrier island pretty insulated from the rest of the area. Met two families moving here (unfortunately from the north) on Saturday. Both said they have had it with the run away taxes and rampant crime in their areas. One lady said she is a Patriot’s fan and was disgusted when three of the team refused to go meet with The President which just added to her desire to get away from the nut cases.
You are in my neck of the woods. Here’s my story. I was culturally enriched yesterday at a Walmart in southside Jacksonville. As I pulled my car up into the parking lot what do I see but muslim woman in full head gear get out of a beater car with a big bag of household garbage. She proceeded to dump FOUR kitchen trash bags next to a shoe donation bin while hubby in old country garb watched. They must have been fresh off the boat and didn’t realize that wasn’t a garbage bin. Or just didn’t care.
Yup, another story about the positives of diversity.
