I’m glad the ‘migrants’ were arrested but why aren’t they referred to as ‘illegal-border-crossers’ or ‘foreign invaders’?

It’s from the Santa Fe newspaper. Up there, a sanctuary city, illegals can do no wrong. Therefore they are just poor migrants.
