A subject like this always gets those with personal bigotry to show their ass. Those same folks who would bristle like a scalded dog if you tried to decide for them what they can have, jump at the chance to tell others what is good for them.

Some of it. I hear about grams at $2-5. If you remember the old days of supply droughts, you’ll appreciate this: I know a guy that smokes quite a bit of weed...it keeps him from drinking, which pretty much incapacitates him. Anyway, he complained a while back that weed was too potent, too cheap, and too readily available. I had to laugh. And that from a guy that has to take the bus or ride a bike about 20 miles to get weed.

“Read the Supremacy clause in the Constitution. Mississippi law prohibited “Negros” from attending their universities. State law over Federal— nope.”

YOU read the Supremacy Clause, only don’t don’t skip over the words “in pursuance thereof”.

You should also read the 14th Amendment while you’re at it, as well as the 10th.

It [marijuana] has never been found by the FDA as having any level of medicinal value what so ever.

If you think the mission of the FDA is to protect the citizens of this country from dangerous and harmful substances, think again. Their actual mission is to protect the profits and markets of big pharma, who have been pushing poisonous chemicals down the medical pipeline for generations.

Chemotherapy has a dismal 3% success rate, and is deadly to most cancer patients who undergo the treatment, yet it is approved for use by the FDA. Ditto for hundreds of other medical drugs whose side effects are lengthy and horrific.

No, the FDA's job is to protect the multi trillion dollar sickness industry in this country. Find a safe and natural herbal cure for cancer and see what happens to you and your discovery. You'll be buried without a trace.

Adderal is a legal drug that is nothing but pure speed and addictive. Likewise opiates like Hydrocodone. Pot can be grown in your closet and backyard so Big Pharma is fighting it like mad.

I am for medicinal cannabis prescribed by a doctor. I know several people with children that are autistic that have to go out of state to get cannabis medicines for their children. One case I know of a man with an autistic daughter was arrested by CPS for medicating her with medicinal pot. This happened in Texas. Texas is way behind on this issue and hopefully this can be rectified soon.

Amen to that. It would be nice to see the current legislative session make some progress on decriminalization and regulated medicinal use.

Marijuana is just plain dope. It impairs thinking clearly . It caused brain damage. It has never been found by the FDA as having any level of medicinal value what so ever.

The exact same can be said of alcohol. The federal government tried to abolish it, but rescinded that amendment after a few years. It was more beneficial to tax it. There are people that view alcohol as immoral, but who is the federal government to decide what is and is not moral?
