This is what I consider a borderline article. A mix of fact and innuendo that sort-of connects some dots but implies a lot more than it proves.

Space Force? Had it for years, decades. Look up the Air Force's 50th Space Wing. The 50th's predecessor (the 2nd) traces all the way back to the mid 1980s or so. There's nothing new here, just the idea of possibly splitting it out. Similar to splitting the Army Air Corps out of the Army and creating the Air Force. Seems like karma to do something similar to the Air Force. ;-)

The humor of academy students being called Space Cadets will be pretty funny in the beginning.
