Blackface theatrical cosmetic use in a staging presentation probably goes back hundreds of years also very likely probably used in Shakespear’s plays.. More often than not it was used because the story line called for a a black person who was not available to perform in whatever it called for.It just demonstrates just how far we are allowing the revisionists pervert an original intention and poison it to promote their guilt agenda.
It certainly is not silly. It is the entire point. Why do actors, actresses or comedians get a pass at painting their faces in today’s society (not hundreds of years ago) while everyone else does not? That is the reason I referenced a modern movie which was created after the picture of Ralph Northam was taken,and I did not make reference to something that was made hundreds of years ago.
This is all about power and control. Leftists condemn those who do the exact thing they themselves do. Then, they make up excuses, just like you did, on why it was fine for the leftist to do it but not ok for anyone else to do it.
This is the double standard.
