I’m thinking, like some other FReepers, that she’s gone over to the Romney dark side. Good riddance, Ann! You’re a backstabbing tantrum throwing toddler, and I’m DONE!
Ann is getting bitter.
She started out as a pretty young woman who got lots of attention. She devoted herself to her career, had fun dating lots of interesting, exciting men.
Now she finds herself in her fifties without a husband or kids, the interesting men of her youth have lost interest in her and are dating younger girls, and even her fan boys at FR have moved on. She’s now old and bitter.
Don’t be surprised if she turns Democrat.

I liked Peggy Noonan years ago, but she too is up and down. But on this speech she agrees with us:

The Republicans controlled both houses of Congress and didn't give Trump the money to build the wall. But only now does Ann make a big deal out of Trump not delivering yet
That's all I need to know to put her in the RINO, anti-Trump camp no matter what good things she's said about Trump up until now.
IMHo, she's just been waiting for the right time to side with RINOs in Congress to do as much damage to Trump as possible, especially with regard to the wall on the border.
It’s not complicated. I expect him to keep his main campaign promise and not to fold over and over again.
Trump folded to Ryan and McConnell several times on the wall / immigration. Signed funding bills with zero wall and no reduction in third world immigration.
His latest fold to Pelosi after the shutdown theater was just his latest cave on the most import issue facing our homeland, the replacement of its people.

Perhaps she fears that her ‘inner circle’ status—popularity, financial means, invites to only the ‘best’ parties, and hob-knobbing with the ‘better’ kind of people-—will disintegrate if she supports Trump and the deplorables who voted him into office.
Yeah, beating on Trump because the Republicans in Congress aren’t willing to build the wall. My point exactly.
