72% of this country has wanted the borders secured and the laws enforced since Congress promised US they would in 1986.

BOTH parties have been carrying out a policy of non-enforcement that has resulted in 30 million illegal aliens.

I’m no longer sure we have sufficient time to build the wall before disaster strikes: Ebola is getting out of hand in Africa. Once millions there start dying - as has been predicted - I fear that some infected people will do anything to avoid death. They know that their best chance to beat the 50% chance of dying is to come to a country where they can receive the best possible care - the US. They also know we won’t let them via any normal route, so their best chance for getting in is to embed themselves with a large body of border jumpers such as the 1200 or so Guatamalans currently headed for the Texas border. They also know that most Mexican and other Central American immigration officials are easily bribed, so I think that most of them will try to get here that way.

Of course, they will infect most of these immigration officials, which will
spread this disease rapidly into the general population throughout Mexico
and Central America, meaning that Ebola could easily become an out-of-control epidemic throughout the US as well.

This catastrophe may happen in stages: When Border Pafrol agents and other LEOs on our side of the border start dying en masse, I believe that the rest will abandon their posts. If so, there will be nothing and no one to stop the infected hordes coming across trying escape almost certain death in Mexico and points south due to the poor sanitation and mediocre health care systems in place.
