For me the biggie was:
Marry Poppins “Chimney Sweep Scene” was racist cuz her face was smoot-smudged.
For me that was the USA’s version of the Khymer Rouge’s, “we gotta kill everyone with spectacles cuz ‘eyeglasses = ruling class’”.
Yep, that ranks up there with the “math is racist” mantra we hear from many on the left.
I think all of these radical initiatives have been planned for a long time. The Left was just waiting for the right moment.
I think they were expecting President Hillary Clinton to shepherd all of this change to completion.
I think the Left was rocked pretty severely when Hillary lost in 2016. But then they shook if off and have been pushing their radical agenda, just as if Hillary were in the White House.
They have no ideology. Their arguments and way of life have all been provably shown to be false. The only thing they had was gay marriage and they rammed that down our throats and enforced it by fiat. With that “resolved” there’s nothing for them to rally around, no way of life to adhere to except what “the other side wants” and they refuse that.
So irrationality is all they have to try to keep their power base. Trump offered them EVERYTHING they wanted with illegal immigrants - including DACA (twice the number of people they wanted with DACA) and they turned him down.
Because they don’t want to problem solve. They don’t want to make a better country.
They only want the power.
The Left is chock full of radicals who try to out do each other so they can stand out from the crowd. When one says something crazy, they feel compelled to say something even crazier. Each one keeps upping the ante.
This will only get worse as the growing field of Dem candidates for president expands making it harder for them to differentiate themselves from the pack. Hence, their willingness to espouse a more radical position than the last person, leading of course to insane and unworkable ideas.
Because they don’t want to problem solve. They don’t want to make a better country. They only want the power.

That’s exactly what I’ve been thinking. These crazy policies were all queued up and waiting for Hillary’s ascent to the presidency. When she lost, they were shocked. Logical leftists (oxymoron) would wait till they’re back in power to push this stuff. But they’re too excited and impatient- they just can’t wait.
It’s organic. This is what their voters really BELIEVE.
Which is far more frightening than a few whacko ideologues finding their way into leadership positions.
They're getting crazier & crazier for one simple reason.....millions upon millions of Americans are just as crazy and they WANT these things.
IMHO, unfortunately, even if Trump wins another term, it's just a finger in the dyke. We're Europe within 10 years.
I just don't see how we stop this. I pray I am wrong.
The Media, Hollywood, Sports is also full of insane people.

The choice to not think leads to irrationalism. Irrationalism, in its main forms of emotionalism and social metaphysics, is not a means of truth, knowledge, and orientation to reality. A mind out of contact with reality leads to mental illness.
Well, if we on the right don’t do something about the healthcare mess, we will be to blame for them taking over.
People should NOT have to go into bankruptcy because of medical issues. Especially those of us who have played the game by the rules all our lives only to face financial disaster in our 50’s or 60’s.
The left is counting on people facing a choice between painful and slow death, or bankruptcy, to start thinking that ‘big government’ and ‘healthcare as RIGHT’ looks better than the ‘tough crap’ that seems to be the cluster offered by the right.
No one who’s worked an honest job all their life should face poverty or lack of medical care in their last decades; if the GOP can’t deal with that then welcome to ‘democratic socialism’.
It’s classic distraction to take the public’s attention away from Leftist corruption, incompetance and malfeseance. If the public is always off-balance and on the defensive it cannot coalesce to oppose the tyranny. All tyrants do it.
I don’t agree with this premise at all. I think the left has always been this radical but now they are not faking it anymore. They are emboldened and the masks are coming off.

hard to call it a mess when 70% of the country is satisfied with their current healthcare situation.
Though I do agree that the current situation with numerous intertwined third party payers is inefficient & wasteful.
Also realize that a certain percentage of our late in life healthcare problems are caused by our earlier in life lifestyle choices. Any honest MD will tell you that! My MD son-in-law sees this all the time. People come to him after a life of heavy drinking, smoking & drug use and now they’re in the 60s-70s want him to fix it all!
The government doesn’t help with is heavy subsidies to the sugar industry.
The left blames Trump for a common cold or headache. It was Trumps fault LA lost the Super Bowl. If we do not hate Trump, something must be wrong.
Call it what you want. I call it a form of reparations.
