She had a natural beauty.

So much today is painted on with a trowel and that’s after having facial surgery.

Guillermo del Toro recently made a movie where a similar monster.

From what I recall hearing from a friend who had the misfortune of seeing it the plot goes something like this. It takes places in the ‘50s in a secret goverment lab where the U.S. military has captured a creature similar to the one from black lagoon. A lonely mute janitor woman falls in love with the creature and decides to save it from being vivsected by straight, white males with the help of her gay and minority friends. She brings it home to live in her bathtub, but at some point floods the entire apartment with water (up to the ceiling) and *ahem* makes “love” to the creature. The government obviously finds them (though, by this point the movie is so stupid that maybe nothing should be obvious), apparently, after being pursued by the government and one of the “couple” nearly dying (I can’t recall which), they escape into the ocean and live happily ever after.

For the record, none of that made much sense to me either, but this, apparently, is what leftists idiots find entertaining and meaningful in todays society.

I searched winners and nominees from 1945-1962 and it’s not listed.

The “Shape of Water” which is a recent libtard ripoff of “Creature from the Black Lagoon” won best picture; not the original film.

It had more in common with the sequel: “Revenge of the Creature”

Hey this was a different take on the Creature and a very romantic film with the twist where the REAL monster was the government contractor pursuing him. It was a beautiful film but, hopefully, we will get that remake on the original.

Amazing Adventures #15?

Opposite for me. I wanted to save them. My mom threw them out without telling me. I was devastated.
