If not for the Rams's defense, they would have been so out-matched. Geoff was weak as was his end receivers. The Rams could have pulled it out if not for the last big pass the receiver missed. Still, a good game.

Glad to see Maroon 5 (kinda rocked) and the lame rappers didn't pull a knee. The wife and I discussed maybe the artists, agents, and venue owners wrote in their contracts not to pull such a stunt. We'll see.

I usually find the SB half-time shows to be embarrasingly decadent, the worst of musical culture sandwiched between the halves of a top sporting attraction. I didn't know these groups, but Maroon 5 was ok. The grafting of the rap artists on top of the more crooning Maroon 5 style was a bit weird, but they were trying to satisfy a segregated demographic.

Yeah, I bet they had a big clause in the contract about the knee. The NFL has been trying pretty hard to undo the unpatriotic vibe it established over the past couple of years. Some of the teams have flag decals on their helmets, even if they're too PC to visit the WH in the event they were to win the SB.
