Remember this is the governor who blamed Trump for Charlottesville and ran an ad of maga guys in a truck hunting a young Muslim boy. He played the race card. Trump curse played back.
That’s not a problem for Democrats. If Northam wants to survive he can point that out, and that McAuliffe in particular had no problem at all with it.

And why would the school put the blackface picture on Northam's yearbook page if ....as he says....it wasnt him?

A fellow student has blonde hair and crazy pants. I believe that’s the fellow student and his girlfriend (dressed in KKK) that are actually in the photo. No idea how it wound up on Northam’s page. It would seem he reviewed and accepted the photos.
How could he have reviewed the pics if he weren't the yearbook staff's photo editor?

VA guvs IIRC cannot be elected to successive terms so if Northam wants another gubernatorial term he must wait until 2025.

Back in my day they had a print out that the student would “sign off” on. Make sure they got the pictures and quotes right.
Yearbooks are optional purchases. It was a way to ring up sales. That would have been a nothing expense for someone rich like Wreck it Ralph.
None of his story is making sense.
Expecting this week to see classmates interviewed. Maybe one woke white or ticked off black classmate will name names.
There are many, many Black people that fill the same way.

Just as soon as the check clears ....
Terry McAwful didn’t do the right thing and resign after it was announced he was under Federal investigation for accepting a large campaign donation from a foreign source. And of course that investigation has quietly been put to bed without anything ever coming of it. There is no final decision available in the case. It’s amazing what Democrats get away with.
