There seems to be a ramped up effort to try to force Christians, and their Christian schools, and likely homeschoolers in the not to distant future, to comply with secular education's secular indoctrination requirements. We've seen a concerted effort by this stroop fella to get disgruntled ex Christian school people to talk about how bad they had it- apparently in an effort to garner public condemnation against Christian schools- He seems to be trying to incite public outrage, simply because some people don't believe as he does-

How long before the masses begin screaming in unison "Burn them"? We're seeing more and more intolerance towards people of religion, with many in the MSM now openly saying ":Screw your prayers and thoughts" on national television, we're seeing the left become incensed over Mike Pence's wife teaching at a Christian School, We just witnessed the rabid, foaming at the mouth outrage over some smiling Catholic boys who were doing nothing but being peaceful in the face of outrageous hateful intolerance by black jewish activists- We witnessed the seething hatred of the left when people like Billy Graham, and Tony Snow of all people, died- and now we're seeing an effort by some to condemn Christian schools 'in the name of science' - an obvious effort to undermine these schools because they don't teach the lie that people evolved

Christian schools venture too often into indoctrination?

Indoctrination is the only thing the public schools do.

To critics, many of these Christian schools venture too often into indoctrination, with teachings that can misrepresent science and history and potentially breed intolerance toward people with different outlooks.

Hahahaha.

Welcome to opposite world.

These derps will say ANYTHING!!!

[[with teachings that can misrepresent science and history]]

Exactly- they are throwing history out the window, whitewashing it so that snowflakes won’t have strokes- and they claim Christian schools misrepresent history?

Secularists love to project

You are right- it WILL get worse. The push is coming not just from those who hate Christians, but also from the education “elite” who still hold to Dewey’s statement that you can’t make a good socialist out of individuals. Not to mention, of course that private schools and home schoolers turn out kids that are so far above the public schools that it is a public shame for them.

Make no mistake about it, grooming children for sodomy (and castration) is going to be a government enforced religious requirement if the Democrats are not stopped.

It sort of already is, but was possible to evade.

We are witnessing an effort by the left to make belief in Christ ‘socially unacceptable’ - and the next step will be to punish any public display of Christianity, under the false claim of it being ‘intolerant and hateful’ (Just look at the article’s seething accusation that the Christian School that Pence’s wife teaches at, ‘gasp, doesn’t allow homosexuals to serve in the school’ as though that is hateful- (They are pushing for public outrage at this point- trying to paint Christians as intolerant and hateful- this is the first step- the next step will be laws against Christian beliefs) and their ultimate effort is to drive Christian schools out of existence (ie underground)

We’re not quite there yet- but we are seeing more and more seething, hateful efforts by the left come to the surface-

I get the strange feeling that Ms. Ingersoll got into religious studies so as to be a Manchurian Candidate and use her "expertise" to undermine religion, especially Christianity.

Her work has been cited in "The New Yorker, the Washington Post, New York Times, LA Times American Prospect, Ms Magazine, Salon.com, Beliefnet and The Nation." (excerpted from her UNF bio page). And, of course, she posts at the Huffington Post. So we know what side of the fence she's on. Also, could find no comments from her regarding the moon god religion. Hmmm...

Culturally, there are already two Americas. Only a matter of time before that is a geographic phenomenon. Otherwise, there’s going to be violence. There might be anyway.

“These schools are front and center in the politicization of knowledge and that’s problematic,”

I can only ask why? People pay to get their kids into these schools so they are obviously disenchanted with the public variety which is free except for the taxes they would have to pay anyway. The church affiliation that backs each school is not hidden and the aspect of inter woven religious studies is brought to bear before the child steps into the classroom. This is one of the most important selling factors of the facility, missing since the O’hare debacle, and is why they have so many different religious schools to choose from.

Tack that on to the “teaching” of Islamic studies being done in many public schools, and acceptance displaying an immoral, non-religious approach to kids like the blatant instruction of homosexuality well ahead of the children’s capability to understand it fully plus the misconception that children K though eight can ponder of such subjects and create their own determinations using adult reasoning, is just as immature and miscalculated as the kids they are brain washing. That is why so many are opting for religious education. Because there, they can have a more rounded positive instruction and not the gloom and doom of societal failures. If the adults can’t fix them with their Harvard education, how can they expect the third grader to do it with his/her limited one of just recently being introduced to the times tables?

As long as there is no strong pushback, expect their aggressions against Christians to continue.

oh i expect it- all through the bible there was Christian and Jewish persecution with no pushback- There is a difference between pushback and righteous religious defiance- pushback is ‘religious aggression’ or ‘religious vigilantism’- while religious defiance is peaceful God obeying defiance of unGodly laws- Daniel and his friends practices righteous defiance, knowing it could cost them their lives- and it almost did-

When the laws get passed banning religious expression in public- many Christians ill disobey, and be persecuted for it-
