I think the Virginia dems want him gone so they can elevate the Lt. Gov to the Gov’s mansion. He is black you know.

Elevate a Lt Governor to Governor who can then do something which is exceptionally rare in Virginia - running for re-election.
This conversation wouldn’t be happening at all if someone else was sitting in the Lt. Governor’s seat.
But hey, that’s liberals for you - standing strong over nothing when they don’t see any downside. And then they’ll face the awkward moment as more skeletons walk out of the closet and party favorites (oh, hello California junior senator Harris...) I mean, when you’ve set the exclusion bar so low as to cover a college yearbook photo, can you ignore actual actions taken while in office?
