She should be defeated when she runs because of her inability to do her job. Being a legislator means having to read bills...especially if you are co-sponsoring them.
This bill is disgusting but it’s already law in New York state. I can see how women might want to be convinced that up to a certain point they aren’t really carrying a baby yet - just developmental tissue they tell themselves - and so abortion is just a medical procedure, soothes the conscience and gives them guilt free options. But how can they convince themselves that an abortion in the delivery room is anything other than straight up murder? Yet, no outcry.

Unless the words "life threatening" or something similar are present, "at risk" can mean practically anything.
"Oh wait, it's murdering babies in the delivery room? Whoa, we weren't supposed to go that far yet. Shoot, can I take my name off it?"
Either that or she heard the blowback her co-sponsor got and said "I don't need that, I'll say I didn't know what it said."
Either way, she's either a monster or a puppet that can be used to facilitate monsters. Pick your poison.

My feeling too, although I think she should certainly have read the bill before voting on it. But at least she admitted she was wrong.
The video of Tran being questioned was great, btw, especially the part where she is forced to admit that, yes, you could kill that baby even while it was crowning. And that a baby born alive could also be killed if the mother or others didn’t feel it should live.
I honestly feel as if I have fallen into an alternate universe. Evil and cruelty seem to reign supreme in this one.

New York beat them by a few days. Cuomo and Hillary wrote that bill together.
I agree. She’s a nurse. I think she knew what was in the bill she was on-sponsoring. What she did not know, what she failed to do her due-diligence on, was how the public would react.
Don’t feel bad, dear. Democrats are notorious for passing legislation without reading it.
But consistent. They did the same thing with Obamacare by Pelosi saying they had to pass it to find out what was in it. Same person in charge of her party, same stupidity.
