It’s from decades of conditioning in the schools and the entertainment world. It’s going to be the rare ones who think that what they are being taught doesn’t fit the world that they actually see.
And if they do realize it they are liable to think that they are alone, or that it’s too risky an opinion to share. You really could jeopardize a career by even voicing this opinion.

I’m a semi-old, brown man who happens to hold to some of the same values that you do, like freedom, liberty, and the right of association. I understand your reluctance in trusting people outside of your demographic, but rest assured there are quite a few like me out there.
Now there's the rub; how do we prevent a person's demographic from becoming their de facto "uniform" in the coming unpleasantness?

Exactly, which will be my particular concern. Being of a mixed heritage, African, Anglo, and Native American, I have never associated exclusively with any particular ethnic demographic. I’m what you might call, a nomad.
Stalin had it right, the difference being Communism doesn't believe in God whereas the Devil does - and shudders.
However, the Devil was on the same side as both Germany and the USSR and they did a number on each other and their respective counties and populations. The Devil thrives on chaos, suffering, death, and evil. There was more than enough of that to go around.
