Outsourced U.S. Workers: Trump White House 'Pushed Aside' Concerns

After President Trump sent a tweet endorsing the outsourcing of American jobs to foreign workers, Protect U.S. Workers attorney and Trump rallier Sara Blackwell said she cried.
We endorsed him, he said exactly the opposite of what that tweet says, Blackwell exclusively told Breitbart News. So that was so utterly disappointing, it made me cry.
The tweet took outsourced American workers who put their faith in Trumps economic nationalist agenda off guard. They have yet to see major wins from the administration on the issue, but remained hopeful that the president was on their side of the issue, not on the side of tech plutocrats like Facebooks Mark Zuckerberg and outsourcing billionaires such as IBMs Ginni Rometty.

I thought Trump was tightening up the long-abused H1B program.

" Donald J. Trump ✔ @realDonaldTrump H1-B holders in the United States can rest assured that changes are soon coming which will bring both simplicity and certainty to your stay, including a potential path to citizenship. We want to encourage talented and highly skilled people to pursue career options in the U.S. 135K 6:40 AM - Jan 11, 2019"
H1-B immigrants aren't the ones we need to worry about. Trust Trump here. This has nothing to do with outsourcing.

Do H1-B holders really qualify as ‘outsourced?’ They are here not back in India.

THIS (bringing in foreigners to do jobs that Americans can do) is a MAJOR weakness of Trumps that will cost him a large number of votes. He has a blind spot where he cant see/appreciate the pain and damage this causes American workers.

He better straighten that out. He’s going to need Pennsylvania, Ohio and the Upper Midwest in 2020.

I just read @realDonaldTrump’s tweets for the last 9 days and did not find a single one concerning the issue of outsourcing jobs or importing foreign workers. This long article is suspicious in that it does not quote the tweet, though it is free to do so.

Theres nothing wrong with the H1B program in general - but its numbers need to be reduced and the abuse of it stopped.
If the reformation of the program does that - I dont see the problem.

Yes - they usurp an actual American onshore based job - technically the role is ‘outsourced’ to an Indian company.
The ultimate goal of most of the H1-B Indian ‘chop shop’ firms however is to replace the citizen’s job ‘onshore’ by acquiring rights to the position (via contract) then the American citizen is forced to ‘knowledge transfer’ everything to the non-American H1-B contractor.
Then, once all of the knowledge and experience required to perform the role is obtained - the job can be ‘offshored’ - meaning transferred to a worker in India.
Then that same ‘onshore’ H1-B can be assigned to another contract, usurp all of the knowledge, and transfer that job to India.
And so on and so forth...
It most definitely qualifies as ‘outsourcing’....a rather perverted form of it.

Oh God, please redirect and refocus Your President on first helping our American workers and students regain their preeminence in our economy by making our highest priority to buy American, hire American, train American and educate American (i.e., give us our “school choice” please). in that way we will best be able to help our foreign brethren. For America and Jesus’ sake i ask. Amen.

Thank you all. So the tweet was from 2 1/2 weeks ago and refers to streamlining H1B regulations. Headline is a bit misleading.

This has nothing to do with outsourcing. I'm sure those American workers replaced by H-1B holders would beg to differ with you.

And no matter what Foxconn says, if they ever build a plant, they will bring a bunch of their people to help run it.

Sorry, but H1B is to skilled worker, what illegals are to unskilled... if you believe otherwise you are grossly uninformed.
To: Wayne07
H1B is an abused program. Employers lay off American workers and hire cheap foreigners for hope of reducing labor costs.
If Trump increases this without reforms, hell lose voters.
