Would like to see a law that says if you are a Govt official and are running for Pres you must give up your position to run. With the exception of a sitting president.

Would like to see a law that says if you are a Govt official and are running for Pres you must give up your position to run.That was the suggestion by the MSM to Bob Dole and he resigned his Senate seat.
