It might be because the Mueller team has accused Manafort of lying to them (which they have), and wants their leniency recommendation revoked for violating the deal.

Reading this opinion hit piece from Connecticut Law Tribune, makes me like him even more, as they label him an "activist" judge. I just love the projection these idiots write.

Dirty as hell? Yes! His involvement in uranium one as well as other cover ups. But he’s working for Trump at Trumps behest.
As President, Trump now controls military intel and the nsa giving him access to every email, text, and phone call. NONE of which is usable or admissible as evidence unless warrants were in place for whatever individuals. Sure there are some that FISA warrants are in place, but through Muellers indictments necessary information that can be used as evidence is injected within the discovery process itself.
Dems know that they’re spinning their wheels trying to impeach and have pinned all their hopes on Mueller which has provided an appearance he’s been investigating Russian Collusion.
The many POTUS tweets he’s speaks of Muellers witch hunt. Remember Hillary is the witch.

The signs all point to the judge throwing Manafort in the hole until death, or sentencing him to time served and a few grand in fees, or sentencing him to a few months in a country club prison resort, or throwing the whole thing out with a word of derision for the muller team.
The signs are crystal clear.
OK. Sentence him to 8 weeks of supervised “time out”, large fines, and make him register as an agent of a foreign power/organization.
After all, Ted Kennedy killed a young woman and walked away from the crime scene and prosecution/jail while Hillary beat the shit out of her hard-drives, emails, computers, husband (that’s ok) and female opponents, gave away 20% of America’s uranium to Russia (an Obama act of treason), collected hundreds of millions of dollars for “pay to play” in politics, and let Americans die in Benghazi without blinking an eye.
If Manafort goes to jail, then the Clintons, Obama and his group of traitors should all be shot for treason.
