This is the cultural war.
Since the NYT was forced to retract or lose millions, they have gone on the attack.

I have before. In first grade, the nuns wouldn’t let me go to the restroom when I was sick and made me sit in my vomit. When I came back from being at home sick, my filthy desk was waiting there for me to clean up. Another, the nuns made us take our shoes and throw them in a pile. I never got back mine that were $$$ special corrective shoes my single parent mom had saved for. They told more lies than truths.
The priests don’t get off scot free. One lectured us teens that we were going to hell because we went on a hayride at a Baptist church. Ash Wednesday, one got angry that kids had bangs so ran the ash down their noses. And the list goes on.
Sorry for your tough experiences. It was terrible you went through all of that.
My son is a sophomore student at an Atlanta area Catholic school, and he happens to be Jewish. He went to public school until high school.
He has had nothing but a positive experience. The education is good. He hasn’t had to physically defend himself from an alpha male wannabe like in middle school. I don’t make him box with me anymore because of that.
Everyone has to bring a compluter to classes and no one worries about them being stolen.
Not one person has made a comment or issue about him being Jewish.
He has a big group of friends that come over on weekends (including a girlfriend) and they don’t vape or drink.
The horrors! Those dastardly Christians are so terrible! /sarc
I send my kids to Catholic school. Catholics who send their kids to those horrible public schools are committing child abuse.

I should contact him about the “horror” stories about my eight years in Catholic schools, then waste his time by telling him the truth — that it was a great experience.
This azzhole is simply doing his assigned part for the Revolution... expunging all vestiges of Christian faith from the American landscape.
